When you are arranging a Scouting related trip, you need to know that any insurance cover you have is just as prepared as you are, and is designed to meet your needs.
Even though you are travelling in the UK that doesn't mean that the unexpected can't happen. With our policy you get the same insurance support as you would if you were travelling abroad.

The last thing you want to worry about is finding an adequate UK Travel Insurance policy that understands your needs.
That is why Unity has developed a UK Travel Insurance policy that is designed for Scouting, for you, and for your specific needs.
The policy is designed specifically to cover authorised scouting activities, and is available for all ages.

Although you may not be leaving the UK, it's still important to protect yourselves and your property. Our policy provides the comprehensive range of benefits above, and unlike many policies covers authorised Scouting activities.
The cover is available to any individual or party travelling on Scouting business, including non-members travelling with a Scout party.
We start your cover before you start your journey
Don't risk losing your deposit or worse still, the full cost of your journey if you're ill, injured or can't go! Cancellation cover starts as soon as you book your journey, so don't wait to buy the policy, book it, buy cover (within 14 days) and sleep well knowing it is insured.

When will my cover commence?
You will be covered as soon as your completed enrolment form is received by us, and we have received your cleared payment.
Cover under the cancellation section applies as soon as you have booked your holiday, as long as the policy is in force at the time or is arranged within 14 days of booking your holiday.
Where can I find details of all the terms, conditions and exclusions that apply?
The full terms conditions and exclusions that apply are detailed in the Policy Document, a copy of which is available on request from us, and which will be issued to the group policyholder on completion of the contract.
Can I still purchase cover if I'm over 80 years old?
Yes, cover is available to all persons engaging in authorised Scouting activities, regardless of age, at standard rates.
